Stepan Avagyan Memorial: “Jermuk-2016” XI International Open Youth Chess Tournament

Chess Academy of Armenia has been organizing “Jermuk” International Open Youth Chess Tournament for 11th year in a row. The last three tournaments are dedicated to the memory of Stepan Avagyan. This year “Jermuk-2016” XI International Open Youth Chess Tournament will be held from June 25 to July 5, 2016 in Jermuk resort town. U18 boys and girls from different regions of Armenia, as well as abroad can participate in this traditional tournament. The tournament will be played in different age groups (U10, U12, U18) according to the rules of Swiss System in 9 rounds.
The opening ceremony of the tournament will take place on June 25, at 18:00 at "Jermuk Ashkhar" Health Center.
